Mr. Gishe Retires?

Ken Mock went over to Northgate last week and noticed a "Goodbye Mr. Gishe" banner outside. We are assuming that means he retired at the end of the 08/09 school year. I think that Jeff Spoden would be the only teacher left who was teaching there in 1986.

Mr. Gishe opened the wonderful world of geometry to me. After a terrible Algebra 1 (who was that awful teacher?) I LOVED Geometry. Especially because a Russian exchange student named Alex sat next to me and helped me!

I've learned to appreciate Algebra now, but my first math love will always be Geomtry. Non Euclidian....fun!

I remember a story that Gishe slammed his fist down on a desk to make a point, and his watch broke apart.

You're right, Tellian is still teaching Biology but doesn't coach football anymore.
